These are the most common ways to become a Guild member, but not the only ways. It is important to note that we are not an exclusive or snobish Guild, but it is important ot note, we expect that you not do anything to tarnish the Guilds reputation, and want to make sure we mantain a positive atmosphere within the Guild. Also note, all members are temporary members untill they Graduate into the Guild, after a month of working with the Guild you become a regular member, based on the general oppinion of your fellow Guildmates, your actions, and your playing abbilities. |
~GUILD APPRENTICESHIP~ This is the most common way of earning membership. Most often by hunting, or working with a Senior member of the Guild, through several lvl's. Time spent hunting together is dependent on your lvl. For example, lvl 5-10 will take less time to realize, then say lvl 35-36. ~INVITATION~ This is a membership extended by a Senior member, due to relationship to an active Guild member. This includes, Marital status, in game, and in RL. Hunting partner, this is if you have a set group of friends with whom you have lvled with consistently throughout your time spent in game, and do not wish to break the Group. ~APPLICATION~ This is how non apprenticed, non invited members can join. This is done by contacting an Officer in game, and discussing Guild membership. Don't worry if this is how you are thingking of becoming a member, because we are non exclusive, and if you are to the point where you are considering our Guild, then you either know a member, or you have been refered. Which means you are most likely respected by your peers, and keep good comapny, which are two verry worthwhile qualities, both of which are in your favor when applying. ~RECRUITMENT~ This is when you are contacted, or yourself contact an Officer during a "Recruiting & buffing Raid" this is more or less an in depth apprenticeship. Most commonly applying to mid lvl chars (15+) who are in zone during an event and are either curious, or interested in joining. Of all ways to recieve an invitation this is the most often practiced, simply because this is the fastest way to expand a Guilds membership, due to the fact it is common to have several people applying for membership at once. ~HUNTING OR GROUPING~ Senior players in the Guild, who have recieved invitation, usualy have because they hunt with an Officer, or another Senior member of the Guild. This is not entirely exclusive to older members, but is practiced with more success at higher lvls. Basicly the invitation to join by a member of your hunting party, based on their overall impression of your playing abbilities, and the oppinion your peers hold of you. ~NOMINATION OR REFERENCE~ This is when a hunting group or party member who is allready a current member of the Guild refers you to an officer, or nominates you for membership.Another common way to revieve invitation, and second to apprenticehsip, the most encouraged form of recruitment. |
